About the film
The documentary from young director, Markéta Válková is a slightly comical testimony about the declining years of motorcycle racers. The Masters return to an abandoned factory in Strakonice and in spite of a motorcycle production decline, they are trying together with the director, to bring back the charming moments of faded fame. They get on their motorcycles again, confront the famous tradition with the cheerless ending while pleasingly persuading us of their intense love of motorcycling. Their words, amusing anecdotes and flashbacks so entwined with with the now, raise questions about the senescence and mercilessness of time. Their sadness is connected with the joy of awoken machines.

The director of photography Marin Šácha (Snowboarďáci, Sametoví vrazi) works discreetly and precisely, which helps to emphasize the remarkable quality of this picture. It was one of the few this year that was directly shot to 35 mm film.
