About the film
„Today it was warm again, although it has been cloudy since the morning so the weather has been fine. In the morning from 10 to 12 degrees Celsius, during the day it was around 20. Around midday it started to clear up, but it did not last long, in the afternoon it was again cloudy and misty. Pepa, Alen and the children went to the woods to the summer-house. The children waved from the summer-house and they shouted at grandpa; he was at the river fishing. I waved at them from the window. It was sad, they seemed happy there and they brought some mushrooms as well. In the afternoon I changed the sheets and cleaned our room. Yesterday I did not have time, so I was working almost during the whole of Sunday.“
This is a first transcript from a film shot according to the diary of grandmother Němcová from Zbraslav, Prague, who, for 25 years, had kept a diary about weather, its condition and personal, family, local and social events. Grandmother Němcová died several weeks before the shooting of the movie where people are reading those passages, in which they appear. This is how a film diary was created which testifies that everyone's life can have a wonderful "climate".
